Our Certifications

Why care about certifications? You should care because certified contractors not only are more experienced (and have demonstrated to the manufacturers that they are capable through live demonstrations) and are required to be licensed and insured, but also because only certified contractors can offer warranties. These warranties can protect the materials and, in some cases, labor used to install your shingles for decades to come. Some warranties can even be transferred to a new owner if you are selling your house!

GAF Certified Residential Roofing Installer

We can offer the System Plus Warranty (only GAF Certified installers can offer this). This warranty offers up to 50 years of protection, dependent on shingle type, and offers wind and algae coverage (GAF System Plus).

Gaf Gold Elite Commercial Roof Installer

Specifically, we are Gold Elite Commercial roofing certified installers. Only 7% of contractors are awarded this certification by GAF. This means we can offer The Diamond Pledge warranty, which is the best warranty GAF has to offer. The Diamond Pledge NDL covers repairs without any dollar limit for both material defects and/or workmanship errors and is only offered by certified GAF Elite commercial roofing installers.

Kemper Certified

Kemper has one of the most demanding and challenging certifications for roofing in the country. We were trained to install their products through hours in the classroom and hands on mastery demonstrations.

If you are looking for a commercial roof installation that will not only last but be protected through a warranty, only Kemper certified installers can offer warranties. This is a requirement for Kemper System installations. Applicators must also carry adequate insurance.

Depending on the application type, we can offer NDL (no dollar limit) warranties through Kemper for up to 20 years. This is a very robust warranty and offers the ultimate in protection and peace of mind.

Ecostar Gold Star (Roofing Installer)

We have been a Goldstar Certified Contractor through EcoStar since 2004. Only Ecostar Gold Star installers are able to offer Ecostar’s warranty, which offers 50 years of labor and material coverage. Contact us for more information about this warranty option.

Metal and Ludowici clay tile are also roofing options that last. Each roofing material type has varying pros and things to consider, and we can assist you with this important decison. • Thickness and dimensionality: Whether you are looking for a thicker shingle (which provides better protection from storms and weathering) or a more budget friendly and thinner shingle (with a warranty for protection), we can help you choose. Many brands offer ranges of shingles, from lower to higher end, with the higher end typically being made of materials such as cedar and boasting a thicker shingle.
• Longevity and protection:
  • Brands offer shingles of different price points to last for various periods of time. GAF, for example, offers 25-30 year shingles to lifetime shingles.
  • Roof material and durability:
    • Metal roofs, for example, can last a long time, from 40 to 70 years. “In cold climates, they offer increased protection against heavy snow and ice damming. In warm climates, metal roofs are fire-resistant, which can help protect a home from burning down” (US News: Metal Roofing).
    • Ludowici clay tiles: “Many other manufacturer’s tile products, such as concrete tiles, require regular re-coating, painting, or chemical cleaning to ensure the longevity of their appearance and performance. Ludowici tiles are guaranteed to retain these properties for 75-years, requiring minimal maintenance” (Ludowici Tile).

Brands: GAF, CertainTeed, Tamco, Owen’s Corning, EcoStar, Ludowici, among others! All of these companies offer durable lower end to higher end shingles with the exception of Ludowici, which specializes in high end Spanish tile.

Warranties: 10-year to lifetime warranties are available, depending on the shingle and work completed.
